I’m thrilled to share that my Saxophone Concerto, written for Christopher Creviston and a consortium of high school bands, will receive its first performance on December 4, 2025, at Otsego High School Auditorium in Otsego, Michigan. This will be the first of three premieres by the commissioning ensembles: Otsego, Mountain Ridge (Glendale, Arizona), and Niskayuna (Niskayuna, New York) High School Bands.

The concerto was commissioned by these three ensembles and their directors, who joined forces to create an opportunity for their students to collaborate with Christopher on a major new work for saxophone and band. I’m deeply grateful for their commitment to bringing new music to life and for the chance to work with such dedicated musicians across the country.
