I’m delighted that Cedille Records will record my “Harpsichord Concerto”, performed by the internationally acclaimed Jory Vinikour with members of the Black Oak Ensemble. Widely recognized as one of today’s leading harpsichordists, Jory is a Grammy nominated artist whose performances have been praised around the world for their brilliance and expressive depth. Composed more than twenty years ago, the concerto received its premiere at Merkin Hall in New York City, performed by Bradley Brookshire and the Corigliano String Quartet. After so many years, I couldn’t be happier to see this work brought to life once again by such extraordinary colleagues and recorded for posterity.
