Thrilled to announce the long-awaited premiere of “In Sympathy”, a large-scale work for chamber ensemble and resonating glass array, inspired by the phenomenon of sympathetic resonance and developed in collaboration with Fermilab physicists. Presented by Civitas Ensemble with guest saxophonist Timothy McAllister, the event will be preceded by a lecture with my collaborators Todd Johnson and Brad Robin, exploring the intersections of sound and particle physics. The evening will also feature an exhibition of Todd Johnson’s artwork modeled on the electrified art of Cristoph Lichtenberg.
